Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 7, 2026
Last updated: June 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how iFindr ("iFindr," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the iFindr mobile application, related websites (including job-findr.com), and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

iFindr is a platform that helps workers and businesses discover and connect with each other for short-term, local gig work through profile browsing, swipe-based matching, and in-app messaging.

For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Website: https://job-findr.com

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process about:

  • Users who register for or use the iFindr mobile app
  • Visitors to our website
  • Individuals who contact us for support

This policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or offline conduct of users you meet through the Service. Any arrangement between workers and businesses is between those users; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

3. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide, information collected automatically, and information from your device with your permission.

3.1 Account and authentication information

When you register or sign in, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password (stored using industry-standard hashing; we do not store plaintext passwords)
  • Authentication tokens and session data
  • Email verification status
  • Account creation and update timestamps

3.2 Profile and user-provided information

Depending on whether you register as a worker or business, you may provide:

  • Display name, profile photos (up to six images), city, and location preferences
  • Interest tags, skills, rates, availability, and bio (workers)
  • Company name, hiring needs, and bio (businesses)
  • Job postings (title, description, date, rate, city, and related details)
  • Whether you are open to remote work
  • Whether your profile is discoverable to other users

3.3 Location information

With your permission, the app may access foreground location on your device to help you select or confirm your city or area and improve local discovery. Depending on your settings, we may store city name, latitude and longitude, and remote-work preferences.

You can deny location permission and still use many features by entering location information manually. We do not use background location tracking.

3.4 Matching, activity, and communications

  • Swipe activity (likes and passes on jobs, workers, or businesses)
  • Match records created when mutual interest occurs
  • Messages you send and receive within a match
  • Timestamps associated with the above activity

3.5 Device, technical, and usage information

We and our infrastructure providers may automatically collect device type, operating system, app version, IP address, log data, security events, and information needed to deliver app updates (such as via Expo Application Services).

We do not use third-party advertising networks and do not sell your personal information.

3.6 Information stored locally on your device

Certain preferences may be stored on your device (for example, theme settings or whether you have viewed in-app guidance).
