Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the iFindr mobile application, related websites (including job-findr.com), and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by iFindr.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About iFindr
iFindr is a technology platform that enables workers and businesses to discover each other and communicate about short-term, local gig opportunities through profiles, swipe-based matching, and in-app messaging.
Important: iFindr is a platform only. We do not employ or supervise workers; guarantee jobs, hires, or outcomes; provide payroll, tax, insurance, or benefits; verify user identity, qualifications, or backgrounds; or guarantee profile accuracy.
Any agreement between users is solely between those users. iFindr is not a party to such arrangements.
2. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, if higher)
- Have legal capacity to enter a binding contract, or use the Service with parental consent where required
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date
Gig work eligibility: Creating an account does not mean you are legally permitted to perform or offer work. You are solely responsible for complying with laws related to working age, authorization, licensing, taxes, insurance, and labor classification.
3. Account registration and security
3.1 Account creation
You must register for an account to use most features. You may register as a worker or business and are responsible for ensuring your profile accurately reflects how you use the Service.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining credential confidentiality, all activity under your account, and notifying us at [email protected] of suspected unauthorized access.
3.3 One person, one account
You may not create multiple accounts to evade enforcement, manipulate matching, or mislead users.
4. The Service and your responsibilities
The Service may include profiles, discovery, swipe-based matching, job posting, messaging, location tools, privacy settings, and app updates. Features may change at any time.
You agree to use the Service lawfully, treat others respectfully, use your own judgment when interacting with users, and verify important information before relying on it.
5. User content
5.1 Your content
"User Content" means information, photos, messages, job postings, and other materials you submit through the Service. You retain ownership but grant iFindr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use your User Content as necessary to operate the Service.
5.2 Content standards
You agree not to post content that is false, misleading, harassing, hateful, infringing, exploitative, spam, or illegal. We may remove content at any time.
5.3 No duty to monitor
We are not obligated to monitor User Content but reserve the right to do so. We do not endorse User Content.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service illegally; scrape or reverse engineer without permission; circumvent security; use unauthorized bots; harvest user data; disrupt the Service; endanger others; or misrepresent your identity or opportunities.
7. Worker and business interactions
7.1 No employment relationship
Nothing in these Terms creates employment, partnership, agency, or franchise relationships between you and iFindr, or between iFindr and any user you interact with.
7.2 User arrangements
Users are solely responsible for gig terms, worker classification, legal compliance, vetting, insurance, and payment. The Service does not currently process payments between users.
7.3 Offline meetings and work
If you meet or work with another user in person, you do so at your own risk. We do not conduct background checks or guarantee user behavior.
8. Payments and subscriptions
The Service is currently offered without in-app purchases or payment processing between users. If we introduce paid features in the future, additional terms will apply.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, iFindr branding, and our content are protected by intellectual property laws. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation. Report copyright concerns to [email protected].
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy at job-findr.com/privacy.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (hosting, authentication, email, app distribution). We are not responsible for third-party services. Apple App Store and Google Play terms may also apply.
12. App updates
We may deliver automatic updates, including over-the-air updates, as needed for security and functionality.
13. Suspension and termination
13.1 By you
You may delete your account through in-app Settings.
13.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, create risk, act fraudulently, or for operational or legal reasons.
13.3 Effect of termination
Your access ends immediately. We may delete or retain information as described in our Privacy Policy. Surviving provisions include disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions.
14. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.
WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION; AVAILABILITY OF MATCHES OR OUTCOMES; OR ACCURACY OF USER CONTENT.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, iFindr and its affiliates and personnel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (A) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (B) USD $100.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iFindr from claims arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your interactions with users, your violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.
17. Dispute resolution and governing law
17.1 Informal resolution
Before filing a formal claim, contact [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
17.2 Governing law
Except where prohibited, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
17.3 Venue
Except where mandatory consumer laws apply, disputes shall be brought in state or federal courts in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
17.4 Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protection rights in your jurisdiction that cannot be waived by contract.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms by posting at job-findr.com/terms and providing notice where required. Continued use constitutes acceptance unless further consent is required. If you disagree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
19. General provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement.
- Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect the rest.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce is not a waiver.
- Assignment: You may not assign without consent; we may assign in a business transfer.
- Force majeure: We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control.
